Senior Undergraduate Writing Consultant

The Writing Center invites UNO students, faculty, and staff in all university divisions to work with a writing consultant on any writing project. This free service can be used to work on writing assignments, application essays, business letters, or other projects.

 

  • Posed and answered questions, provided feedback, and coached writers through any stage of the writing process from brainstorming to final editing.

  • Assisted with deciding on a topic, generating ideas, focusing ideas, enhancing writing style, handling technical details of grammar, documentation and format, understanding different forms of writing, and becoming a more confident writer.

  • Helped run UNO Writing Center's Instagram, planned and prepared training for staff, and collaborated with other staff members on conference proposals.
